We are camped out at the Cook's house for this ice mess that we're having. This afternoon Gran had an outstanding idea for Gracie to play dress-up with some of Aunt Julie's dresses from highschool. Gracie was so excited and couldn't wait to try them on. She was adorable in them and cheesed it up for the camera. It was a bit of a crazy flash forward to see her trying on "prom like" dresses after just having had a conversation with her yesterday about college. She was watching "A Very Goofy Movie" or something like that and in it Goofy's son goes away to college and Goofy is very sad at one point. Gracie all but starts crying and asking if she will ever see us again when she goes to college and if we will ever visit her. Before she could make a decision to never go to college I assured her that we would visit often even if she didn't want us to and that she could come home every weekend. I know time will never slow down, but I sure don't want to rush these sweet years with her.
By the way, this little diva will be FIVE tomorrow!!!!
A little side note: school is canceled again tomorrow. Gracie is super excited!
