the birthday

What a fun day we had. Who knew you could have so much fun at a 2 year olds birthday party? The morning started off a little hectic (I didn't realize the time it would take to get the cake ready), but with the help of a wonderful husband and great friends from Mobile we got everything ready. Kathy, Todd and Jackson came up from Mobile yesterday for the big party. Thanks Kathy for all your help with the cake and cupcakes! We were glad to have our family and friends with us today to celebrate Gracie's birthday. She had a blast too. She really enjoyed having Jackson Rowland and Jackson and Jonathan Warren here to play with her.

We had play group at our house yesterday and Gracie enjoyed playing with her buddies on her birthday. The trampoline was a big hit yesterday and the kids had a great time jumping together.

We took some really cute pictures of Gracie after her nap today and I'll try to post those tomorrow. She was still very excited about her new toys, especially her new shoes!

update about Chase: Cookie and Richard stopped by for a few minutes today during Gracie's party. Cookie had a ton of pictures of Chase and he looks so good. She said he was doing so much better now. The feeding tube was the only thing he was still hooked up to. She said they were going to try a bottle feeding at 2:00 today. I'll keep you posted as we hear more. Thanks again for all your prayers.
